Permanent repairs whenever conditions allow
Our repair crew makes every effort to perform a permanent repair on the first visit. If roof conditions do not allow for a permanent fix — cold, wet or unsafe weather, for example — a temporary repair is applied to stop your leaks right away, and a quote for the permanent solution is provided to you.
A typical permanent leak repair looks like this: locate the source of the leak — often a split in the membrane — prepare the roof surface, apply a 180 base sheet heat-welded down, then a 250 cap sheet heat-welded over it, seal the leading edge with mastic and mesh, top-coat, and re-gravel to finish.
